YOU ARE A LIAR

Confronting deception becomes a conversation with oneself. The film places Wen Yin Liang in a spare monochrome world, where a raised hand, a mirrored figure and a face emerging from darkness carry the emotional weight. Reflective surfaces fold and distort, while a keyhole-shaped opening and sharp geometric light give the surrounding void an uneasy structure. The restrained palette leaves room for small changes in gesture and expression. Against the song’s raw admission of hurt, these images hold a space for recognition, self-address and the slow work of beginning again.
