YOU'RE WRITTEN IN MY SONG

Shared memories become places to enter in this reunion of sodagreen and Ella. A vivid architectural stage, a blue telephone booth and intimate everyday rooms connect performance with the small moments that stay with us. Bubbles gather objects and images into a weightless world, eventually setting the musicians above the clouds. The film’s playful shifts between domestic detail and impossible space give the renewed recording a celebratory form. Photographs, gatherings and familiar gestures connect shared memories with an imagined future.
